This song is based on a poem i wrote when i was 15 after my father passed away. I was living in Ireland and raised a Catholic believing that babies went to Limbo before they were allowed to go to Heaven. It's that place in between everything with a great deal of uncertainty. I found these poems in May and was surprised to recognise that I feel the same way today all these decades later. The music came to me and I changed one lyric to mention applying to jobs. It's a depressing song but I needed to make it. Perhaps it will help someone know they are not alone.
